Wheels of Development (WOD) is a non-profit making local Non-Governmental Organization
registered with National NGO Board (Reg. No: S.5914/5580) on the 1st day of April 2005. WOD
seeks to unify, nurture, and empower women, youth and children socially, economically and
politically.
VISION: A society in which teenagers, youth and women are empowered economically and
socially to equitably make choices in matters that directly affect them.
MISSION: To nurture and empower children, youth and women through vocational and capacity
building, promote rights and sustainable livelihoods in communities. 

We are doing some programs in form of corporate social responsibility and outreaches
Mentorship
Leadership skills
Career guidance
Counseling and guidance for youths teenagers and children
Hygiene for both girls and boys.
Domestic violence
Children's rights awareness
Diet
-Reading culture for children
-We hope to start an early childhood education
There are cases we find where parents rape their children
So there's gap for us to sensitize communities and schools
About their rights.
Sports and Talent development we can choose 1-5 sports disciplines
There are also people with disabilities and elderly.
We can organize for quarterly camps.
As social corporate responsibility.
We can source for school fees for the poor and drop outs due to different challenges in early teenage pregnancies.
We can also do hand washing.

WOD’s programmes and Strategic Goals
• Children, Youth and Women Economic and Social Strengthening
o Business Skills Development (Agribusiness; Vocational Skills; Talent development
like music And Sports development and Textiles and Crafts Enterprises –
Mentoring; Incubation; Business to Business Visits, Girl Entrepreneur programmes
(GEP) and Learning)
o WOD vocational school will offer practical skills training to both formal and nonformal students in the fields of carpentry and joinery, bricklaying, Computer Skills
with a solar based labaratory, painting, plumbing, electrical installation,
metalfabrication, motor vehicle mechanics, poultry,fishfarming,
beekeeping,tailoring,catering, hair dressing and computer repair. All the above
under DIT assessment. 
Youth and Women’s Rights Enhancement (Basic Financial Literacy; cooperative
savings formation; Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response)
• Sustainable Natural Resources Management
o Sustainable Agriculture (Improved Farming Practices; Food Security; and Advocacy
for Access and Utilization of Resources)
o Conservation of the Environment (Energy Efficiency; Capacity Building;
Reforestation and Afforestation)
• Organizational Capacity building
o Develop and Maintain the Model Farm
o Develop Skills in Critical Areas of Research
o Formation of vocational & hands on skills’ training hub
o Introduction of sustainable hands-on skills in schools
